We need to address the broken healthcare system in America that incentivises profits over human care, creating the sick care system we all know today.
We must pass a single-payer, national healthcare system that covers all Americans and is more cost-effective than the current system.
-
At a time when worker productivity has never been higher, and at a time of extraordinary wealth in this country, we must pass a living wage, adjusted annually to keep up with the rise of inflation and the cost of living.
Telling workers in America that if you wake up, go to work every day, and become a contributing member of society in the richest country on earth, you won’t have to choose between filling a prescription on time or putting food on the table.
Americans working 40 hours a week should be able to afford the basic necessities for survival.
-
For decades, American worker productivity has climbed while wages have remained stagnant; we cannot allow AI to accelerate this divide. We must treat AI as critical infrastructure, not just a private product.
Just as the electrical grid or the highway system is a public utility that empowers every American, AI should be a public utility that empowers every American, not a tool for surveillance or total corporate control.
We cannot permit a power this era-defining to be concentrated in the hands of a few wealthy corporations or a handful of individuals. AI must be steered by the public interest to ensure it serves all of humanity.
-
The science is clear, climate change is real.
We must work with Mother Nature and move towards a future of sustainable, clean energy creating millions of good-paying jobs to protect our environment and our planet.
There is no planet-B.

We need leaders in our government who will demand fair tax policies that even the playing field and say to the richest individuals in this country, who have never had it so good, that you cannot have it all.
We must create a system in America where the wealthy pay their fair share, no longer ripping off our economy and pushing the burden of taxes onto poor and working class families of this country.
Under progressive tax policies we can create a government that works for all Americans, not just a few.
-
The best thing for America's workforce is an educated workforce. I believe that in this new age, anyone willing and capable of pursuing a higher education should be afforded the opportunity to do so without the income barriers the system we have created has put in place today.
I believe that we must invest in higher education through public colleges and universities with progressive taxation, which can provide the necessary funding to make this dream a reality but we have to fight for a system which tells the one percent of this country that they must pay their fare share and help us prepare our future generations.
-
To address the housing crisis in America we need to confront the ones making unaffordable for everyone else and ban private equity from buying up vast swaths of America’s homes and pushing people out of the market, using automated evictions policies to push people out of their homes and using algorithms to fix prices.
We need to increase the supply of homes by incentivizing the private sector to build more low income, affordable housing. We can also tackle tough zoning restrictions that make affordable housing construction difficult.
-
Address the massive issue of affordable child care in America by establishing a fair tax system capable of generating the revenue required to expand existing child care programs.
These child care programs will support working families and contribute to our economic growth. This will allow parents willing to work, the ability to work without worrying about the stress of early child care.
-
The era of ‘free trade’ is over. We need fair trade in America that protects job security, domestic manufacturing, wage growth, our national interest, and the rights of working people.
We need to end NAFTA. The disastrous trade agreement has harmed workers, lowered wages, sent manufacturing jobs overseas, and exposed weaknesses in our supply chain. Weaknesses that could cripple American defense.
-
We have to fund our public schools. Public funding should be used for public education and we cannot allow severe cuts to public education or accept the rerouting of publicly available funds to private for-profit institutions.
Our public schools are what educates future generations, they are the lifeblood of our communities and we need to take care of our children, not allowing others to fall through the cracks of a broken school system because we can’t pay the bills.
-
A worker's collective bargaining rights are a worker's voice in the workplace.
I believe we should not only protect but encourage workers in America to organize and democratize the workplace to negotiate better contracts for fair wages, larger benefits and better working conditions.
-
We have to fix our broken criminal justice system that tosses a dragnet over communities and uses systemic oppression by design that punishes the poor to keep our prisons full and generate massive profits for the private prison industrial complex and let the rich obtain their ‘get out of jail free’ card.
-
We cannot accomplish any of these urgent structural changes to the current system until we root out dark money in our politics and end our corrupt pay-to-play campaign finance system that breeds corruption.
